In this [Top ETF to Short Bitcoin | SBIT | Quick Take] video 🎥, we will be discussing alternative ways to trade Bitcoin, specifically through the use of the SBIT ETF. @TheKrow and @EZMike have mentioned this as a potential option for shorting Bitcoin, and we want to thank them for bringing it to our attention. While we already have a short option in our main ETF sheet with BITI, we wanted to take a closer look at SBIT.
You can find SBIT in our Research tab on our ETF’s Google sheet, and it currently has a risk-reward profile of 1.43 for the past 52 weeks. We have identified a potential support level at 1.31, making it an attractive short option. However, given its limited history, we would like to see more data on its performance.
SBIT is not optionable and does not pay out dividends, so it purely functions as a short on Bitcoin. We can compare this to our other long-term short option, Biti, which has a risk-reward profile of 1.03 for the past 52 weeks. SBIT does have some degree of leverage, but it’s too new to determine if it’s 2x or 3x short.
