In this [SRTY vs TZA | which is the Best ETF to Short the Russell 2000?] video 🎥, we will be discussing our latest trading strategy where we take a 3X short position on the Russell. We have added this stock, known as ‘SRTY’, to our bullpen on the 7th and have moved it up to our top swing trading stocks to watch list. Our main focus is to find a top resistance point in the IWM, and our analysis on ThinkorSwim shows a strong three-year high on IWM 244.46. Once we see a reversal in the IWM, we will look for an entry in ‘SRTY’. Another option for shorting small caps is through TZA, which are inverse ETFs with similar compositions to SRTY. We compare the two in our ETF’s Google sheet, and personally, we prefer SRTY due to its slightly higher dividend payout compared to TNA.
