Marathon Digital Holdings is a prominent Bitcoin mining company. With the recent Bitcoin halving and lack of doubling in price, many Bitcoin miners are consolidating. However, MARA seems to be holding strong and even showing a profit. Let’s take a deeper dive into their financials and see why they are standing out amongst other miners.
First, their P/E ratio is high but not alarmingly so. Additionally, they have no debt, which is a positive sign for any company, and the fact that they are optionable with no significant discrepancy in shares means they are not at high risk for offerings – unless they start losing money.
MARA has also seen impressive growth in the past year, with a 100% increase in performance. This can be attributed to the surge in Bitcoin prices and new all-time highs. As stated in their recent earnings report, they have beaten expectations, further boosting investor confidence.
It’s also worth noting that MARA has become EPS positive, meaning they are now profitable and have seen a significant increase in their EPS in the last quarter. This is especially impressive considering the recent drop in Bitcoin prices.
