With this in mind, we have identified a potential trade opportunity that involves shorting consumer discretionary and longing consumer staples.
To make things easier for you, we’ve added a number of ETFs that you can use to execute this trade idea directly on our ETF Google sheet. These include the UCC (a leverage long on consumer discretionary), SCC (a leverage short on consumer discretionary), UGE (a leverage long on consumer staples), and SZK (a leverage short on consumer staples).
When you look at the consumer section of our ETF Google sheet, you’ll find that the main sector spider for consumer discretionary is XLY, while the main sector spider for consumer staples is XLP.
