Let’s dive into a chart that breaks down the market’s performance during the spring season. As we can see, March is usually a slightly positive month for the markets, followed by a nice rebound in April. However, May tends to see a decrease as the “sell in May and go away” crowd takes action. This trend has been evident in the past five years, but over a longer term, the markets have shown a slight positive trend in May.

Moving on to June, we see a slight rebound as the markets recover from the “sell in May” crowd. This goes against the popular saying, “sell in May and go away”, and shows that the markets can still perform well in June. So while it’s important to protect your profits going into May.
