In this [ETF to Trade South Africa | EZA | Quick Take] video , we will be discussing a new addition to our ETS Google sheet – the iShares MSCI South Africa ETF (EZA). This ETF was recently mentioned in a Benzinga video as a possible opportunity with high gold prices. So, let’s dive into the details.

Currently, EZA is trading at around $45, which is in the middle of its range. It has a 52-week risk reward ratio of about 1:4, so the current risk reward is not super great but also not too risky. Upon searching for EZA, we can see that it is heavily composed of gold-related companies such as Gold Fields, a bank, and Anglo Gold. This is not surprising as South Africa is a major global producer of gold.

One advantage of EZA is that it pays a dividend, with a buy bi-annual dividend of $262. It is also optionable, meaning that you can write covered calls, making it a potential source of additional income. Additionally, it is shortable, so you can short the ETF to bet against South Africa’s economic performance.

In this [Best Small Cap & Mid Cap Momentum ETFs | Quick Take] video , we have some exciting updates to share with you! During last week’s live chat, one of our community members, @RT, mentioned some great additions to our research sheet. We are grateful for @RT’s contribution and would like to thank them for sharing these valuable insights with our beach bum trading community.

Last week, we began our discussion on trend following and momentum ETFs, and this week, we will continue exploring this topic. In the previous video, we discussed some trend following and momentum ETFs, and RT has identified a whole series of additional ETFs, including some for small caps and midcaps. These additions have been categorized under the momentum category in our Google Sheet, and we can compare their risk-reward profiles for the last 52 weeks.

Some of these ETFs have just been added, and some have been around for a while, with varying levels of volatility and ratings. Among the small caps, XMO and DWAS seem to have the best risk-reward profiles. They have a good amount of support and not too much volatility from top to bottom over the last 52 weeks. We can also see the current risk-reward ratio for each ETF,

Welcome to our YouTube [AVES | FRDM | Best ETF to use to Trade Emerging Markets?] video today, where we will be discussing two emerging markets ETFs that have caught our attention. As you may know, emerging markets have been a hot topic recently, with China potentially recovering and Asia as a whole trending up. In this video, we will be comparing two long ETFs on emerging markets – AVES and FDM.

If we take a quick look at these ETFs, we can see that both have shown positive trends. However, there are some notable differences between them. AVES is advantis emerging market value fund and FDM is Alpha architect Freedom 100 emerging markets ETF. In our research sheet of ETFs Google sheet, both of these ETFs are listed under Emerging Markets as long options.

In terms of risk-reward profiles, these two ETFs are fairly similar. However, there are slight differences in their 52-week highs and lows – FRDM has a slightly higher risk-to-reward ratio. In our research sheet, we can see their profiles in more detail – for example, AVES pays a semi-annual dividend of 3.6%, while FRDM pays a quarterly dividend of 2.43%.

Let’s take a closer look at the A1A Asia 50 ETF. Currently, its risk-reward profile is at 73 with a high of 77, making it relatively high risk. From bottom to top, the risk-reward ratio is 1.5, and from bottom to top, it is at 2.86. You can also access the link to this ETF’s profile on FinViz by clicking on the link in the FinVizURL column.

This ETF has been on a strong uptrend and currently pays a dividend of 38 cents semi-annually. It is optionable and has a relatively low volume, making it ideal for larger investments.

Best ETFs to Trade Transportation Stocks

In today’s [Best ETFs to Trade Transportation Stocks] video , we’ll be going over a recent addition to our sector and ETF spreadsheets, as well as our watch list. As many of you may know, there has been news of a port strike and potential reduction in airline numbers, which has sparked interest in the Transportation sector. So, we’ve added the sector spider for Transportation (XTN) to both our ETF and watch list spreadsheets. This allows us to track real-time trends in the sector during trading hours. As you can see, XTN was up significantly on Friday, possibly due to the potential resolution of the port strike and reduction in airlines. It was one of the only sectors that saw positive movement while others, such as real estate, home builders, and utilities, were down.

Moving on to our main spreadsheet, where we have some Transportation ETFs like IYT and TPOR, which is a leverage ETF for Transportation. Both of these saw significant gains as well. We also added some ETFs from the Max group a couple of weeks ago, including a leverage long on Jets (JETU) and a leverage short on airlines (JETD). However, these may have low liquidity.

Additionally, we have found the inverse of this ETF – WEBL, which is a 3X leveraged long ETF on internet stocks. This allows traders to have a leveraged long or short position on internet related stocks. We will also be looking at the risk reward profile for this ETF in our research sheet.

Some notable companies in this these ETFs include Amazon, Alphabet, Netflix, and Cisco. This basket of internet related stocks is quite diverse, ranging from technology giants to companies that derive a portion of their revenue from the internet, such as Airbnb.

Hello and welcome to our latest video from BeachBum Trading. In this [Top ETFs to Short Japan | JPXN | EWV | EZJ | Quick Take] video , we will be discussing the JPXN ETF and its potential as a trading opportunity. But before we dive into that, we just wanted to give a quick reminder that all the tools and resources we frequently use can be found in the link section on our homepage, beachbmtrading.com. Okay, so let’s get into it. @EZ Mike has mentioned the JPXN ETF as a potential option for selling Puts on to Short Japan. So let’s take a closer look at it in FinViz. As we can see, the JPXN is an ETF for the Nikkei 400, which is a Japanese stock index. It’s not leveraged, so it follows the index closely. Looking at the chart, we can see that it has recently double topped and may be trending down. However, JPXN is Not Optionable, so you would not be able to Sell Puts on JPXN but it is Shortable so you can Short this ETF.

We also look at alternative ways to Short Japan using the EWV and EZJ ETFs.

If you’re looking for a trade idea that focuses on consumer staples and discretionary spending, then you’re in luck! In this [ETFs to Trade Consumer Stocks | SCC | UCC | SZK | UGE] video , we’ll be discussing some recent updates and additions to our ETF Google sheet, along with a potential trade idea that may interest you.

As we all know, retail sales have been weaker than expected, and there have also been reports of weak earnings in the travel and restaurant industries. This has led some experts to believe that consumer discretionary spending may be declining, while consumer staple spending is on the rise. With this in mind, we have identified a potential trade opportunity that involves shorting consumer discretionary and longing consumer staples.

To make things easier for you, we’ve added a number of ETFs that you can use to execute this trade idea directly on our ETF Google sheet. These include the UCC (a leverage long on consumer discretionary), SCC (a leverage short on consumer discretionary), UGE (a leverage long on consumer staples), and SZK (a leverage short on consumer staples).

When you look at the consumer section of our ETF Google sheet, you’ll find that the main sector spider for consumer discretionary is XLY, while the main sector spider for consumer staples is XLP.

In this [Best ETFs to use to Trade Canada | EWC | FLCA | Quick Take] video , we will be discussing the latest additions to our Google sheet of ETFs focused on Canada. This category was inspired by a video by Michael Nauss where he talked about gold and mentioned the EWC ETF, which tracks the MSCI Canada Index. We also found another ETF, FLCA, that follows the FTSE Canada Index, and we will be comparing the risk/reward profiles of both. Taking a closer look at the EWC and FLCA ETFs, we can see that they both have similar risk/reward profiles and a lot of overlap in their holdings, which include Canadian banks, Shopify, and natural resources. However, the EWC is optionable, while the FLCA is not. We will also touch on the importance of being able to trade in both directions, long or short, and ask for recommendations on potential ETFs for shorting Canada.

In this [What is the Best Utility Sector ETF? | VPU UTSL XLU UPW SDP] video , we will be discussing a new addition to our ETF research sheet, mentioned by @EZMike He introduced us to VPU, the Vanguard utilities ETF. We will take a closer look at VPU and compare it with other utilities ETFs available in the market.

In our ETF Google sheet, in the research tab, we can explore and analyze different ETFs. At the bottom of the sheet, we have added VPU. We will also refer to the Finviz chart, which can be accessed through the link in the Finviz URL column. The chart shows a 52-week risk-reward of 1.29. We have also identified the support and resistance levels, and it looks like 140 is a potential resistance near the previous peak. VPU pays a quarterly dividend of $130 and is optionable.

Looking at its profile, VPU seeks to track the performance of the MSCI US Investable Market Index for utilities. We will also look at its composition in the ETF database, where the top three utilities are Southern Company, Duke, and Nextera.
