The VIX Futures Term Structure

In this [The VIX Futures Term Structure] video , I wanted to share something very helpful that I found while watching the VIX and UVXY on Wednesday, I noticed that the VIX was up while UVXY was down. This got me wondering why this was the case, and I thought it might be due to the role of futures that UVXY covers for 2 months. You can see this in its definition, and I suspected that the roll from month one to month two was bringing down UVXY while the VIX was going up.

So, I wanted to find a Futures term structure to see if that played a role in the decline of UVXY. I found a site called “Vix Central” where you can see the future months of VIX Futures, which I have added in the Screeners Sheet of our ETFs and WatchLists Google Sheets and under the Reference Links on our homepage at https://beachbmtrading.com/
