First, let’s take a look at Disney’s stock chart. As you can see, we recently swung trade profitably with Disney when it was below $100. However, it has since bounced back up and is currently trending down. If it breaks down below $100 again, we will be interested in buying Disney stock.

Now, let’s take a closer look at the catalysts affecting Disney’s stock. Nelson Peltz, who was leading an activist campaign against Disney, recently sold his entire position. This is a good sign for the stock as it removes any potential negative influences. Additionally, the earnings report showed a gap up and a dividend announcement. However, it has since rejected back down and is slowly filling that gap.

Looking at the longer-term chart, we can see that Disney has faced some resistance around the $123 mark. It has also dipped down to $80 before bouncing back up to $120.
