In this [SIRI | Sirius XM | Quick Take 3] video , we will be discussing the latest updates on SIRI. We will be sharing his thoughts on trading both shares and puts for the company, along with a quick review of our previous videos on SIRI.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on SIRI ever since the merger with Liberty Media and the interest from Berkshire. After a slight dip, SIRI has bounced back up with positive earnings, proving to be a profitable trade for us once again. However, with the merger arbitrage now passed, we suggest only considering selling puts and keeping the Berkshire angle in mind when trading.

SIRI does offer a small dividend and we have seen increased interest from the Buffet trade. Our previous thesis on SIRI was that Buffet keeps adding to it, making it an attractive investment option. If it hits a bottom again, we might consider buying shares. So make sure to stay tuned for future updates on SIRI.

Today, in this [NBIS | Nebius | Quick Take] video , I want to share with you my quick due diligence on NBIS. We recently added NBIS to our Puts ROIC research Google Sheet with a $15 strike price and a February 21st expiration. If we take a look at our research sheet, you’ll see that NBIS is currently trading at around $32, significantly higher than our strike price.

We set our strike price at $15 because the stock had hit a 52-week low at $14, making it an attractive entry point. The premium on this put option is only $2.55, which may seem small, but it still gives us a return on capital of almost 8%. However, this premium may continue to increase as the VIX is currently low, making premiums in general also low.

Now, let’s take a deeper look into NBIS. NBIS, or Nebius Group NV, is a technology infrastructure company based in the Netherlands. It provides infrastructure and services to AI builders, making it a strong contender in the AI industry. It’s similar to SMCI, but without the accounting problems.

Additionally, NBIS is an optionable stock but is currently not shortable.

They wanted to know if it’s a good stock to buy now. Well, we have some updates for you. Recently, we did a thorough analysis on NMG and released it in a previous [NMG | Nouveau Monde Graphite | Quick Update] https://youtu.be/9_dRS5cMMUg video . You can check it out through the link in the description. But, today in this [NMG | Nouveau Monde Graphite | Quick Update 2] video , we’re going to take another look at NMG. So, what’s been happening with this company? NMG, or Nouveau Monde Graphite, had a significant increase in December but seems to be hitting a resistance point at 230. Their earnings in November were better than expected, but they still have no revenue and are losing money. This may be a cause for concern. They also have a low amount of cash on hand. Upon further investigation, we found that they are currently cash flow positive for the quarter, which is a good sign. Additionally, they have some outstanding debt, but it is not too significant. However, there is a large discrepancy between their outstanding and floating shares, which could potentially lead to a shelf offering in the future.

Let’s start off by looking at Teledoc’s performance in the face of the pandemic. As we can see, there was a huge surge in demand for its services, leading to a sharp increase in its stock price. However, since then, the stock has been declining and is currently trading at a 52-week low. The pandemic may have played a role in its initial success, but it seems that the company has struggled to sustain its momentum.

In its latest earnings report, Teledoc reported a big loss, but it did slightly outperform estimates in terms of revenue. In this [METC | Ramaco Resources Inc | Coking Coal | Rare Earth Elements | Quick Take] video , we take a closer look at a new addition to our Bullpen stocks – MEC | Ramaco Resources Inc. As a coking coal play, we have previously traded MEC profitably and wanted to do some quick due diligence on the company. With recent news of a significant drop in coal prices and a potential shift towards coal under the Trump administration, we were interested in the potential opportunities for MEC.

Using the stock profiles on FinViz and our Bullpen watch list on Google Sheets, we see that MEC has recently come down and pays a dividend of 14 cents per quarter. However, their last earnings report showed a loss, although they have beaten earnings estimates in the past. The stock is currently in a downtrend, but has potential for upside into the low 20s.

Looking at MEC’s fundamentals on ChartMill, we see that the company has good valuation and profitability, with a dividend yield of 6%. However, the health and growth indicators are low. One key factor that we like about MEC is their involvement in rare earth materials.

Today, in this [PZZA | Papa John’s International, Inc | Quick Take] video , we’re discussing one of our latest additions to our Bullpen – Papa John’s Pizza (PZZA). This fast-food chain has caught our attention due to its double bottom formation and promising financials.

First off, we added Papa John’s Pizza to our database, dividend payers and puts ROIC Google sheets. This allows us to compare the options of selling puts or buying shares on PZZA. We also did some quick due diligence on Papa John’s and found that we strongly prefer their pizza over their competitors, such as Dominoes.

Upon further analysis, we can see that the stock has recently formed a double bottom and has just finished on the 6th, making it a promising addition to our Bullpen. We were also pleased to see that it pays a quarterly dividend of 46 cents, although it used to be higher. Their last earnings report showed that they were in line with expectations for Revenue, which leads us to wonder what may be driving the stock’s recent decline. Looking at the fundamentals, PZZA has a PE of less than 13, which is not bad for a consumer cyclical stock.

On November 9th, we identified this stock as having a multiple bottom pattern on its FINVIZ profile. So, let’s jump to their homepage and take a closer look. Now, let’s scroll down to the trading tools section and click on FINVIZ. Here we have RES | RPC, Inc, an oil and gas equipment and services company with a multiple bottom pattern. Despite missing earnings, the stock has bounced back nicely and even pays a quarterly dividend of four cents with a 2.6% yield. It has a solid P/E ratio of 11, making it a potential value play. However, its performance for the year has been negative, with a high short interest that could potentially lead to a short squeeze. Looking at the bigger picture, the stock has been in a downtrend for a while but has recently bounced.

First, let’s take a quick look at Monolithic Power System (MPWR)’s stock chart on Finviz. We can see that the stock took a big hit following its recent earnings report. While they beat expectations for both earnings per share (EPS) and revenue, it seems that the negative guidance they provided has caused investors to lose confidence in the stock.

The company’s price-earnings ratio (PE) is still relatively high and the stock is optionable with a decent volume. It also pays a small quarterly dividend, but the yield is quite low. How To do Technical Analysis on ETFs with ChartMill | Quick Take

Today, in this [How To do Technical Analysis on ETFs with ChartMill | Quick Take] video , I’ll show you how to use ChartMill for ETFs and specifically, I’ll be looking at EWZ, the long ETF for Brazil. I’ve been keeping an eye on the setup in Brazil, so I decided to try out ChartMill for ETFs. As you know, ETFs are not like regular stocks, so we won’t be looking at fundamental analysis. But, I was curious to see if we could use technical analysis for ETFs using ChartMill . And the answer is yes, we can! I wanted to see what the setup looked like, and it seems to be improving as it now has a technical rating of 6 out of 10. It was previously at 5 out of 10. So, I’m closely monitoring this setup and if it turns out to be a good long setup for Brazil, my preferred leverage long would be BRZU, a leverage ETF. We’ll need to see a strong upward trend before we can follow the trend with BRZU. If we predict that the market will be choppy, we can opt to use EWZ instead to avoid the potential negative effects of leverage.

This paradox was first discovered by economist William Jevons and still applies today. It’s not just limited to transportation, but can be seen in various industries. So, why is this important? It reminds us that simply relying on efficiency measures may not be enough to address important issues like resource depletion and climate change. In this [Is QTUM a Good ETF to Trade Quantum Computing Stocks? | Quick Take] video , we will be discussing a hot topic in the investing world – Quantum Computing. We will be looking at a new ETF on this topic, the Defiance Quantum Computing ETF, which is listed as QTUM.

First, we will open up our research sheet and take a look at the QTUM ETF. Since it is relatively new, there is not a lot of historical information available, but it has been performing well and is currently sitting at a 52-week high. When we look at the profile and financials, we see that it has a high AUM and a small dividend. However, it is not shortable and has low volume, so it may be choppy to trade.

Next, we will explore the composition of the ETF, which includes companies such as IBM, Marvel, and Fujitsu who provide services related to Quantum Computing. We also see that this ETF follows the BlueStar Quantum Computing and Machine Learning Index, which is a passive management strategy.

Welcome to our latest [IEP | Icahn Enterprises L.P. | Quick Take Update] video , where we dive into the world of investing! Today, we take a closer look at IEP – or Icahn Enterprises. @Alan Krentz has asked us to provide our insights into this company, so we’ve added it to our dividend payers list. With a nominal yield of 30%, IEP certainly caught our attention. However, upon further analysis, we found that its performance has been quite negative this year, with a 33% drop. In this [IEP | Icahn Enterprises L.P. | Quick Take Update] video , we’ll take a look at the risk-reward profile of IEP, including its chart and recent trends. We also have a previous video on IEP from July, which we’ve linked in the description box so you can hear our previous discussion.

Since then, IEP has had a big drop in August, followed by a recent bounce after resolving some lawsuits. Looking at their definition, IEP has a diverse portfolio of investments in different segments, including oil and gas. However, despite this diversification, they have had significant losses in the past year, with a negative EPS. This may be a red flag for shareholders, especially if they are unable to maintain their current dividend payout. Additionally, IEP has a high level of debt.

In today’s [EWM | iShares MSCI Malaysia ETF | ETF to Trade Malaysia | Quick Take] video , we will be discussing a new addition that I have made to our ETF’s Google sheet, which is EWM – an ETF on Malaysia. Recently, there was news about Microsoft building a data center in Malaysia, which caught my attention. So, I decided to use the ETF database to gather more information and share my insights with you.

Okay, in this [Nvidia Stock (NVDA) vs AMD Stock – which is the Best Semiconductor Stock to Buy Now?] video we’re going to be discussing the ongoing debate between AMD and Nvidia, sparked by a post in our Discord server by user @GeraldFitz. Gerald shared an interesting article about the two companies, saying that while Nvidia has been dominating the conversation lately, AMD is not far behind in terms of performance and potential for growth.

The article points out that Nvidia’s stock price is currently near all-time highs, while AMD’s is trading near its 200 EMA. In fact, Nvidia is currently 8% down from its all-time high, while AMD is down 33%, giving the latter more room to run in the long term. In this [How will Interest Rate Cuts affect the OPP Stock?] video , we will be addressing a viewer’s question about OPP, a stock that was previously discussed in one of our videos as potentially a good dividend stock. The viewer, @Grunderson, asked if decreasing rates would make older bonds more attractive and in turn, positively affect OPP’s performance.

Before diving into the analysis, I wanted to mention that OPP is a complex investment and therefore, we will be discussing it further in Part 2 of our weekly trading game plan. We will be taking a closer look at OPP’s composition and how bond prices may impact its performance.

To start off, OPP is an asset management company that specializes in various investment strategies such as the tactical closed-end fund, credit strategy, and income strategy. As we can see in their homepage, they have a diverse portfolio composed of different funds managed by multiple managers from River North and Double Line.

However, as seen in its longer-term performance, OPP has not been doing very well and hit a low point in November. This is where @Grunderson’s question becomes relevant – if rates decrease, older bonds will regain value and small businesses may have an easier time performing, thus positively affecting OPP’s performance.
