In this [METC | Ramaco Resources Inc | Coking Coal | Rare Earth Elements | Quick Take] video , we take a closer look at a new addition to our Bullpen stocks – MEC | Ramaco Resources Inc. As a coking coal play, we have previously traded MEC profitably and wanted to do some quick due diligence on the company. With recent news of a significant drop in coal prices and a potential shift towards coal under the Trump administration, we were interested in the potential opportunities for MEC.

Using the stock profiles on FinViz and our Bullpen watch list on Google Sheets, we see that MEC has recently come down and pays a dividend of 14 cents per quarter. However, their last earnings report showed a loss, although they have beaten earnings estimates in the past. The stock is currently in a downtrend, but has potential for upside into the low 20s.

Looking at MEC’s fundamentals on ChartMill, we see that the company has good valuation and profitability, with a dividend yield of 6%. However, the health and growth indicators are low. One key factor that we like about MEC is their involvement in rare earth materials.

He asked us to take a look at a potential stock, so we are going to dive into it on today’s [STHO | Star Holdings | Quick Take] video . We will be discussing STHO, or Star Holdings, a real estate services company.

First, a quick reminder that you can find useful links and resources in the description box below. Now, let’s take a look at STHO on both Finviz and Chartmill. As we can see, the stock has been in a steady downtrend for several months, but recently it seems to have bottomed out. It has a low PE ratio, is optionable, and also profitable. However, keep in mind that it has a small float and low volume. Generally, the stock has been choppy and its yearly performance is at a -8%, with a high of 16. Currently, it has touched its bottom at around $10-11.

Looking at its income statements, we can see that the recent quarters have shown a switch from negative to positive EPS and net income. However, in general, its fundamentals do not look very strong.

STM, also known as ST Microelectronics, is a Netherlands-based semiconductor company paying a 20% dividend that has sparked our interest as a possible swing trade. Though it might not be the most enticing dividend payer, with only a .97 nominal yield and 8 cents in dividends, its 52-week low and attractive yield make it worth considering. Plus, with a dividend pay ratio of 4.46%, its performance may improve in the future.

Taking a quick look at the charts, it’s evident that STM has been trending downward, and just recently announced their earnings with a beat on EPS and a small miss on revenue. The company pays a 89 cents quarterly dividend, not the most impressive for a dividend payer, but it’s a solid 1%. As an added bonus, STM is also optionable, meaning it could offer more potential for price appreciation.

Welcome to today’s [Viking Therapeutics | VKTX | Quick Take] video where we will be discussing VKTX pharmaceuticals and its recent performance in the stock market. As many of you may know, VKTX had a huge pop in March, but has since had negative earnings and typical fluctuations that are common in the biotech industry.

Upon further analysis, we can see that there is not a significant difference between the company’s outstanding shares and float, and there is a relatively high short float. This could potentially lead to a short squeeze, so it is important to keep an eye on the stock’s weekly chart, which has been as high as 100 and as low as 50 in recent times.

As with any biotech company, there is a high-risk, high-reward potential. Although I am not currently recommending buying into VKTX, I highly suggest using our biotech due diligence Google sheet to further research the company’s cash flow and do a quarter’s worth of due diligence on the company’s prospects.

Looking at the company’s chart, we can see a recent spike in the value of weight loss medication, which may be contributing to the positive momentum of VKTX. However, I recommend protecting your profits if you are currently invested in VKTX, as there may be further news.

In today’s [GPC | Genuine Parts Co. | Quick Take] video , we’re going to be taking a look at GPC (Genuine Parts Company) and analyzing its recent performance and future prospects. GPC has been in the news lately due to a big earnings miss, so we’re going to dive into its financials, technicals, and the overall state of the auto parts industry.

First, let’s take a look at their recent earnings report. As we can see, GPC reported a profit, but it was a big miss on EPS (expected 240, reported 180). However, they did beat slightly on revenue. This earnings miss has caused the stock to plummet, down about 20-21% in just one day. This is a significant drop, and it looks like the stock may have more downside potential.

Now, let’s take a look at GPC’s fundamentals. Their PE ratio is currently at 15, which is not too bad. They are profitable, but they do have high debt and a low short float. In terms of balance between outstanding and float, it’s pretty good,

In this [ATKR | Atkore | Quick Take] video , we take a closer look at the electronic and equipment parts company, ATKR | Atkore Inc. Mentioned in a recent video by @EverythingMoney, we dive into its financial data and stock performance.

First, we visit Finviz to see ATKR’s downtrending stock, with recent highs just over $200 and lows near $80. We also note that they pay a small quarterly dividend of 32 cents, with last earnings being profitable but missed.

Moving to their long-term performance, the stock has been in a steep decline and is currently experiencing some support at $80. However, there is still potential risk down to the $20s. We also see that the stock is optionable, with some short interest of 12%.

In today’s [IMOS | Chipmos Technologies | Quick Take] video , we’ll be discussing a potential investment opportunity in a Taiwanese Semiconductor Company called IMOS. Let’s dive in and take a closer look at this stock.

On October 17th, IMOS was identified as having a double bottom in the FinVizchart, which caught our attention. After some quick analysis, we were impressed with what we saw and added it to our database. So, we wanted to do a quick due diligence and share with you what we like about this company.

Firstly, let’s take a look at the FinViz and ChartMill links, which you can easily access on our homepage beachbumtrading.com. We find IMOS is a Taiwanese Semiconductor, being an ADR (American Depository Receipt). One thing we noticed is the double bottom at around $22, with the stock price making a decline over a period of time and currently below its near-term moving average. However, the most recent earnings report was positive and profitable, despite a slight miss in revenue. With a PE ratio of only 13, the stock seems to have a low PE.

Now, let’s take a closer look at CCJ. As you can see, it recently topped out and rolled over, along with many other uranium stocks. Despite disappointing earnings and revenue, CCJ has managed to bounce back from its recent low and is currently trading around $40, with a recent high of $56. However, if we zoom out, we can see that CCJ is still relatively high, with a potential risk of going down to $20 and an upside potential of $15. This is one of the reasons why we don’t particularly like the risk-reward profile of CCJ compared to other uranium stocks such as UROY, LEU and DNN.

In this [VYGR | Voyager Therapeutics | Quick Take] video we will be taking a closer look at biotech company Voyager Therapeutics. Using our biotech due diligence Google sheet, we will calculate their cash flow for the quarters and assess if this company is a potential option for swing trading.

First, we will go through the recent news and market activity surrounding Voyager Therapeutics. The company has been trading below its cash value and has caught our attention. We will then analyze their financials, including their earnings report, which showed a loss but less than expected and better than expected revenue. The company has a high PE ratio and not much discrepancy between shares outstanding and shares float. Currently, the stock is trading at around $6.40 and it seems like it could be bottoming out and ready to swing back up from its recent low of $6.06.

Next, we will use our income statements to calculate their cash flow for the quarters, which will give us a better understanding of how much cash the company has available. This will help determine if they are at risk of having to do a stock offering, which could potentially dilute the value of the stock. The calculation shows that Voyager has 11 quarters of cash available, which means they are in a stable position.

We’ve had Lifeway Foods in our database for some time now, but I wanted to take a closer look at their financials and see if it’s a worthy addition to our watch list. So, after entering the ticker symbol LWY in Chart Mill, we can see that the stock is currently riding an upward trendline and has a pivot point around $10, with a recent low at $9.06. While I would prefer to see a slightly lower entry point, it seems that the trendline is providing strong support. Also, the stock has seen a high of $20s, which makes for a positive risk-reward profile.

Hey everyone, in today’s [SST | System1 | Quick Take] video we are going to be discussing a stock that was recently brought to our attention in our Discord group. A community member posted about SST and asked for our thoughts, so I thought it would be a good idea to do a quick analysis on the stock. So let’s dive into SST, also known as System One Inc. This company falls under the specialty business services category in the industrial sector. Looking at its chart, we can see that it is holding a support level and is on an upward trend, currently in a narrowing wedge. It recently popped above its moving average, which could be a possible resistance in the longer term. However, its recent earnings have been negative, which means they have been losing money. They did beat on revenue, but the previous earnings were also negative. This is something to keep in mind when considering investing in SST.

In this [SIRI | Sirius XM Holdings Inc | Quick Take 2] video , we will be taking a second look at Sirius XM as requested by one of our viewers, Allen. We had been following Sirius on our channel and had previously taken it out of our Bullpen. However, it recently popped back up, which you can check out in our previous Quick Take video linked below. As we were watching it, we noticed an Arbitrage opportunity with Liberty Media and we wanted to see if there was any news regarding this.

Upon further observation, we saw that Sirius had recently run up and tested the resistance at the upper trend line and longer-term moving average. However, it was rejected and bounced back down. Additionally, they were recently removed from the NASDAQ 100, causing some selling pressure. As we had suspected, they did bounce back up quickly, which was a bit surprising due to their high short float. However, they also have a high float, creating a significant discrepancy between their outstanding and float shares. This could potentially mean that they have shares to offer.

It is important to note that the potential buyout with Liberty Media is more of a merge, and the stock is optionable. There is also no significant debt, but an analyst report did show a negative outlook for them.

In this [CPSH | CPS Technologies Corporation | Quick Take 2] video , we’ll be discussing our thought process for including CPSH | CPS Technologies Corporation from the bullpen into our watch list and going long on it. CPSH | CPS Technologies Corporation has been in our bullpen for several weeks, but we decided to move it up to our watch list on the 28th and subsequently went long on it. We’ll be looking at the ChartMill as well, as there was recent news that caused the stock to jump to about $2. This news was a small Navy contract, and although the stock corrected after, there is potential for further catalysts with more contracts in the future. We also checked the fundamentals and see that CPSH has a very positive setup, which is why we decided to move it to our top swing trading stocks list and go long on it.

We also checked the Alman Z score and their financial health, which looks very good. However, as CPSH | CPS Technologies Corporation is a small cap company, we wanted to make sure they were solvent before making the decision to go long. To do so, we used our Biotech Due Diligence Google Sheet to calculate their quarter’s cash flow positive.
