Some of the positive trades we had identified were in the oil and natural gas industry, specifically for producers, service companies, and exploration companies. We also saw a positive spike in cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin hitting new all-time highs. It is also worth noting that Trump is in favor of nuclear power, so we can expect positive opportunities in that industry. Additionally, companies that benefit from reduced regulations, such as utilities and lease companies, may also see positive impacts.

On the other hand, we also identified some potential negatives that could arise from Trump’s policies. The pharmaceutical and biotech industry may face challenges due to his focus on reducing healthcare costs. His stance on tariffs could also have a negative impact on certain industries, especially exporters and commodities. We also discuss the potential retaliatory actions from countries like China and how they could affect US exports.

To begin, we will be reviewing some of the Trump trades that we discussed pre and post-election. These included investments in oil and natural gas, with the mantra of “drill baby drill,” as well as opportunities with service companies such as SLB and Exxon Mobile in response to the lifting of the ban on natural gas exports. We also saw a surge in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies following the election and continue to see growth in this area. In addition, Trump’s pro-nuclear stance has also been positive for uranium providers and there may be opportunities to trade in this sector through various ETFs.

While there are some positive Trump trades, we also need to be aware of the potential negatives. This includes pharmaceutical companies, as Trump has expressed interest in limiting Medicare negotiation and there may also be limitations on mergers and acquisitions in the biotech sector. We also discussed the potential impact of tariffs on both countries and commodities, particularly those with exposure to China, Mexico, and Canada.

The company operates through two segments, Complex Machining and Turbine Engine Components. The Complex Machining segment offers landing gear, arresting gear, engine mounts, flight controls, throttle quadrants, and other components.
